I've been generally satisfied with the combination of SplashID iPhone Desktop 4.6.1 and SplashID Lite 4.6. Upgrading to v5 would require paying for both the desktop app and a compatible non-Lite version of the iPhone app which I don't currently need. And it's disappointing that SplashIDDataBase.sdb data files still aren't portable between PPC and Intel Macs, a design flaw which SplashData has had plenty of time to fix. And multi-device synching doesn't appear to be supported in v5. Plus after waiting several years for v4, a long overdue but worthwhile enough upgrade from near-abandonware v3, it seems too soon to charge again for v5. The desktop app still looks/feels too much like a clunky port from Windows than a natively written OS X app.
SplashID used to be one of my more essential apps, especially when using Palm OS devices, but 1Password is getting closer to fully replacing it. Hopefully 1P eventually supports more sophisticated importing of SID data.
Speaking of support… I prefer AWS' focus on OS X and iPhone versions of 1P, compared to SplashData being spread more thinly across several products/platforms.
