all the versions I have downloaded in the last few days have reported that they can't find the itunes database, and there is no way to report this issue to the developer. too bad, good idea, otherwise

Two things:

1) Under the application menu, there is an option to choose another iTunes library. Pick that and direct it to your library.

2) I haven't contacted the developer myself, but on the app's web page, there's a tiny little Support link at the bottom of the page (it's actually just a mailto link) to contact the developer.

I hope this helps. I find this app infinitely preferable to the monstrously bloated iTunes for simple listening or watching.
