Mac PPC OSX 1.5.7 Firefox 3
Installer installed Vuze toolbar WITHOUT allowing for me to give permission. When I uninstalled toolbar Vuze remained to interfere with Google search bar and some links.
Took me an hour to search and find out how to remove all the spyware files it installed. Insidiously they do not contain the letters "vuze." they are called "conduit."
Otherwise a good product but I'm going to spread this around it's inexcusable.
PLUS there is no fix on their site.

Where did this installer you used come from? When I run the update from inside the application, no such installation takes place.Thursday, August 27 2009 @ 10:19 PM PDT

so, can someone explain here for all of us amateurs how to get rid of this interference of vuze with google search engine? I don't want to have anything related to vuze in my computer, and I just don't seem to be able to get rid of it entirely!Sunday, August 30 2009 @ 11:27 PM PDT

You can choose not to install the toolbar, uncheck the box on the second screen of the installer.Monday, November 16 2009 @ 12:46 PM PST

HiI was wondering if you managed to completely get rid of vuze? and if so how???? I'm being driven demented with it!
I've found every file I know- Azureus, Vuze and the conduit files and deleted them. But conduit seems to keep re-installing itself so there must be more hidden. I've tried all the usual mac hiding places but I suppose it doesn't help much if you don't know the name of the file they've hidden it under!!
PLEAS HELP =(
