I hadn't heard of XMenu until today, and already I'm hooked. Great little utility that brings back the power of Apple's OS 9 Application menu. I don't care how pretty the Dock looks, it's really not much of a productivity enhancement, and even worse I hate chasing a moving target with my cursor. I've created my own user defined XMenu and I'm pretty sure I won't be using the Dock as much anymore. The only think it doesn't do that the Application Menu did was indicate which applications are currently running. No biggee... But the price sure is right: free. You get a lot more than what you paid for with XMenu. Thanks!!!

Great Utility - DavidRavenMoon

"I hate chasing a moving target with my cursor."

Why don't you turn off magnification? I never use that dumb feature.

That way the Dock icons don't move. If you aren't going to take the time to set it up the right way, then you can't complain about it!

Better yet, use Command-tab.

The Application menu was always a pain. Who wants to move their mouse up there and click just to see what's running?

The Dock also works as an app launcher.

I did miss the Apple menu though, so I use FruitMenu.
