If your preferred browser is Safari, use SafariStand to save flash files. It's free and you get video download as well as all the other functionality of SafariStand.

Videobox can do more than just download the .flv file. For one Videobox doesn't have to wait for the video clip to load entirely and Videobox also has built in re-encoding. (via ffmpeg)Your videos could easily be save to mp4, or h.264 which are more useful if you want to view them on an ipod or iphone for example.
Yes I know you can do it with other tools after using SafariStand, just point out that this is a one click option that might be worthwhile to some. (Me for one :-) )
Additionally, so far Snow Leopard 10.6 doesn't allow Input Managers, so Videobox can still be used without the Safari plugin via drag and drop.
