PNG images containing dropshadows aren't rendering properly on pages created in iWeb when viewed with Firefox 3.5rcx. The dropshadow is displayed around the perimeter of the PNG image. This is fine until one employs a PNG image with a transparent region. Firefox 3.5rcx doesn't ignore the transparency when rendering dropshadows, resulting in boxy, picture frame shaped dropshadows. When viewed in Safari, those same PNG images will display the dropshadow behind only the nontransparent component, resulting in images with dropshadows resembling their visible shapes.
Since iWeb's special effects rely extensively on the use of PNG files, sites created in iWeb may not look as intended when viewed using Firefox 3.5rcxx.
I don't know whether iWeb or Firefox is to blame, but I do hope this is remedied soon.
