Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

On the Windows camp, Windows 7 is still not supported in 2.0.5, so you have to use the Windows Vista profile when creating the VM and hope for the best if you are trying out the Windows 7 RC that Microsoft is offering for testing till 6/2010. (side note: VirtualBox does support Win7 as of now).

No support at all is offered for OpenBSD or NetBSD. Only FreeBSD appears in the Others section.

Some OS not supported. - bradpdx

I can't really get on VMware's case for not supporting an unreleased OS like Windows 7. I have a Win7 installation working, but it's just for amusement, I would never use it for production work - just XP for those few times I "need" Windows.

I sincerely hope to "need" it less and less. And really, truly, Win7 is nothing to get excited about. Move along, folks.
