Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

I had a couple of down days and thought I would spend it with a good game, and this game might be good, I'll never know. Even though the site claims they take Discover, they don't, and so I went to get a gift card, an American Express. This also had problems, what kind I don't know. I sent an email to the customer support, they responded, asking for the last digits of the card. I was at work and didn't have it with me, so I suggested they refund my money. I later provided the last digits, but I don't know if they plan to refund the money or give me the code or neither. The web site is of little help- this is a quote from it:

"Note, 6/22: Due to an e-mail issue, we're running a bit behind with our support queue. Apologies for the inconvience. We ask that you please bear with us, and we'll get in touch ASAP!"

I was beginning to feel that I wasn't dealing with a very on the ball company here, especially since they don't seem to know how to spell "inconvenience". And don't know what credit cards they take.

My phone calls the next day were unreturned by Paul, their representative, although the lady who answered the phone said he would call me back. I'm looking at having no product after a full Sunday and two later business days, and have no idea if they plan to refund my money or give me the product. I suppose they think so highly of their product that I should feel lucky if I ever get to use it, but I don't, and at the price- which is very high for a game of any kind- I think they could do better. A lot better.

This is just my experience, I wanted to let folks know, since that's what this sort of thing is for.

Terrible customer support. - larrymal

As of the Fourth of July, my money is still tied up with Freeverse, who have not authorized the return of my money to American Express. Terrible company. Be very cautious.

I also later got the game in a different manner. I never lost to it, it was slow, took hours to play, and the outcome was never in doubt that I would win. Lame company, lame product. Skip.
