I'm hardly a "power user." Yet, it seems the relatively limited demands I place on my browsers (I use Safari, iCab, Opera, Camino, OmniWeb, and Firefox) consistently seem to bring down ("crash") Firefox and none of the others.
I can't remember the last time any of my *other* browsers crashed. I can't remember the last version of Firefox that was actually stable and didn't crash at least once (or twice) a day.
And, talk about a Resource hog! Firefox frequently ends up using 50% or more of my CPU and (depending on how long it's been since it last crashed) up to 300 MB or more of Real Memory.
Inexcusable. Even for F/OSS.
I'd give up on Firefox and use other browsers exclusively, except that I have grown accustomed to many Add-ons that simply aren't available (or haven't been replicated, yet) in other browsers.
