Those who appreciate knowing the lyrics of the songs they love will enjoy this app. Installation is pretty simple: drag the app into your Applications Folder and launch it. My library was found and processed quickly, and I was then able to view the lyrics in iTunes by selecting "Get Info" for a song and then clicking the "Lyrics" tab in the Info window.

After syncing the lyric-encoded songs to my iPod Touch (running the iPhone 3.0 software) I was unable to view the lyrics. Certain artists, like NIN, encode their tracks with lyrics, so I'm familiar with the feature. For whatever reason, I could not view the lyrics on my device.

Still, for a freeware utility, this provides a convenient service.

Very Handy but iPod Touch doesn't display the lyrics (for me) - stm87

I found that the lyrics showing up in iTunes don't sync with your iPod as well. The only work around was to delete all the songs from the iPod and re-add them (after using ituneslyricslocator)
