Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Have Not Tried

Recommend Product: NO

Crashes everytime. I've never had a chance to try it. While faster is nice I like the Add-ons available with Firefox and will sacrifice a little speed for the ability to customize.

Won't Start - DavidRavenMoon

Do you have third party add-ons installed?

Try removing them and try again.

Then wait until they update them.

Won't Start - JonCalgary

I'm a long time Mac user since the early 90's...

4.02 is a pig, but not in all systems or computers. There is no rhyme or reason why it doesn't work. Under 10.5.7, it would simply stop responding at launch. Under 10.5.8, it does this only intermittently. I use no add-ons that Apple might blame. Apple Geniuses simply told me to uninstall and reinstall, which did not work (and which I suspected wouldn't work ahead of time).

The only real fix is to revert to 3.23 using Pacifist. How to do that is here Bill Vogel, Dedo and LeafsMac posts, Page 5:
