VLC 0.9.9a is very stable, but the new 1.0.0rc versions are all unstable. Some crashes while loading a video and always crashes when i quit the programme (Apple-Q).

I prefer the stable VLC 0.9.9a and wait for a stable 1.0.0rc release

I agree I have the same problem when quitting. It also just crashes if its been open for awhile.
