Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

Recommend Product: YES

This seems like a very handy utility for web designers. I just used it on a 592kb .png file and it was compressed to 388 kb without any visible artifacts. Speed is not really (Quadcore/6GB) fast but nevertheless the tool works great and does what it says.

Thanks, edia. I'm going to be recompiling this with some speed optimizations very soon. Hope you'll stick around.

No space safe - sascha_77

I saved all png files with Photoshop. Its already optimized. No chance to get it smaller with PNGpress.

Sometimes it's not possible to further optimize PNG images. That is a good thing. However, not everyone uses Photoshop, and sometimes even Photoshop exports can be optimized more.
