Like the previous reviewer, the final release of Safari 4 crashes for me when trying to load store.apple.com. If I turn off Javascript in Safari preferences, then the Apple store will load.

The irony of this does not escape me, nor I am sure, Apple.

Anyway, hopeless for now as I can't run my browser with Javascript turned off.

Also tried the usual protocol of disabling/enabling other plug-ins, systematically deleting and re-creating the various Safari prefs littered about my system, all to no avail. It just simply seems like there is some errant code in the Apple store that Safair chokes on.
