I already own podworks which is an excellent program to get stuff off an ipod. On a whim I thought I check around to see if there are any other utilities that were as easy to use. Pod to Mac was actually my last choice and it was a bit of a surprise. I found it somewhat easier and clearer to use than all the others including the excellent podworks.
Pod to Mac hasn't got any help but it's so simple it doesn't really need any. Some similar ipod ripping apps have so may features that they're actually difficult to use because of the long learning curve. Pod to Mac seems stable and reliable when I tested it with a once only upload of a few thousand files, songs and audiobooks from my ipod. It's freeware so price is obviously not an issue.
Not denigrating podworks in any way because it's always worked well for me, but I think if I had to make a choice it would be Pod to Mac.
