I've been using this application for a number of years. It came about when my trusty old Epson all-in-one-printer/scanner ceased to be supported by its own company. Lo and Behold VueScan came to the rescue. I produce TV commercials and travel all over. I can't always carry a scanner with me and on occasion I have to take an image and scan it for clients. Vuescan is all I need. It is constantly updated and you will actually hear back from the developer if you have any issues (I've only had one since my purchase). The updates are forever. Dig out your credit card and do the right thing. You won't be sorry.
