Just today, a pop-up notified me that the quicktime movies I'd made from wmv's I'd viewed with FlipForMac would all have the "This movie made with Flip 4 Mac" written in large letters accros the center of the video UNLESS I paid for a subscription for the software.
IT IS NO LONGER FREEWARE. It is more like shareware in that what you can download for free is only a DEMO version and will display as such.
VT, please re-classify this software as either shareware or Demo Only.

NO LONGER FREEWARE - Flip4Mac
The Flip4Mac WMV Player is a free player. It also contains Flip4Mac WMV Player Pro in demo mode, which allows you to open WMV videos in QuickTime Pro and export them as a QuickTime movie (you can also import WMV movies into Final Cut Express or Final Cut Pro and edit them into a QuickTime movies. So nothing has changed. Flip4Mac WMV Player is still freeware. However, the watermark will appear if you try to use features supported only by the upgrade, which is only $29, by the way!
