Bad link, I got an error.

The app may be freeware but the service is not. You can send 100 mB for free but if you need to send bigger files using YouSendit you need a monthly subscription.

The fact that the app is free but the service may cost something over the 100 meg limit sounds perfectly reasonable to me. Why shouldn't they make some money for providing you with a service you wouldn't get elsewhere for free?
