Why would you buy an application that the mac can already do. Shift, Command, 3 gives you a screen shot. Shift, command, 4 gives you cross hairs to drag over an area of the screen and capture just what you want. The default output is desktop and it opens in preview that has it's own photo tools.

if screen capture was the issue, you're right!
but there is so much more, I delved into it today and must say that this is one of the niciest, sleekest, userfriendliest apps I have seen in a long time...
