rooSwitch 1.5 includes two new features that may need further explanation: "Locked" profiles and replacing a file in an existing profile.

Locking a profile

A locked profile is a profile that will never change. While active, you may do things that cause some of the data files to change, when you switch away, and back to a locked profile it always starts back with the data as it was when it was first locked.

To lock a profile double click on it to open the profile editor and check the 'lock' checkbox.

Note: You may only lock profiles if your document is set to "Copy Files". The lock option will be disabled if your document is set to "Move Files".

Replacing existing files

In previous versions trying to add a file to a profile that had a file with the same name would result in an error. Now when you do this rooSwitch will ask you if you want to update the profile with the file being added. This is great for when someone sends you a copy of their preferences file or Application Support files. Just make sure the file names are exactly the same and rooSwitch will know what to do with it.

Support for Adobe AIR Applications

Prior to the 1.5 release, dropping an Adobe AIR application on rooSwitch didn't work as one would expect. Not all the required files were switched. This has been fixed and Adobe AIR applications are now supported.
