This is a simple word processor, with all the features we need for 99% of work. It is a step up from TextEdit (from OS X). The search and replace is more advanced.
The best feature is that it launches very quickly, less than 1 dock bounce for me. I also use Tex-Edit Plus and TextWrangler for special situations, but Bean's instant launch is nice.
