It makes perfect sense to discourage developers from writing Mac Apps, right?

well, rather than be penalized by by loading down my system with pointless bloatware-if the Windows receiver is too dumb to use an anti virus app after all they know about Windows over the years-then they virtually deserve a passed on via email virus.in 20 years of Mac use-Ive heard of ONE red alert national out in the wild MAC virus-the rest have all been on-paper/ or set up in a lab under ideal conditions- theoretical;
To wit- year after year, Clam AV sat rusting from lack of use-never a report of anything anywhere. I finally junked it;
Nortons Mac AV sales are so in the toilet that every now and then they cry "wolf!" in an attempt to jog sales-AWAYS has been a false alarm
I think if anyone could have created a dangerous malware like we see regularly from Windows-some of financial and security importance-we would have by now-esp with Windows safely fortressed inside an Intel Mac; Never say never-but live in the real world at the same time- who doyou know thats ever had a virus on thier mac;
The last reviewer w/ a folder full of nasties sounded like a "planted" review

I may be wrong, but is it possible to download a file or receive an email that has a virus attached to it, and then forward that virus to someone else that may be using windows? If that is possible, wouldn't you want to get rid of the infection?Reply to This
