I have used Leopard Cache Cleaner for less than a minute.
I launched it and saw that there was a "Force Empty Trash" option.
Well, I have had this directory and file in my Trash for 2+ years that I could not delete as the filename was corrupt. I spent hours reading about such beasts and various ways to delete all to no avail.
LCC just gave me a completely empty trash can (basket?) in less than 30 seconds.
I am off to buy it.
