I bought this program for my DVD collection. I tried to import my collection from another program because the developer's web site says: "Delicious Library supports direct importing from a number of competing applications." It does not. This applied to only version 1 (which is not available anymore). The only import option for version 2 is via a text file, which means that the DVD covers are lost (and other information). I solicited the developer for help several times and in the past 9 months (starting in June 2008) about the import. To date I have received 1 replay that said to use version 1 to import (that was the extent of the help) and since then not a single reply. The program support is completely non-existent. Yes they have forums but you never get any responses there. I think the program is dead and the developer has given up on it.
I spent the money on their program and scanner only to get no support and a program that doesn't work as advertised. I will say that if you are starting from scratch (i.e. scanning your DVD library for the first time), the program works. It will look up the information and the information display is great. But if you have an existing library, the import from another application does not work at all, and the import from a text file will leave the records scrambled and without any graphics.
Bottom line: Buy the program if you will never need any support, because you aren't going to get any.
