I can't stand the Google software updater. It pesters you to download the update, which it then cannot install unless you are an administrator. If an administrator installs the new version manually, the updater does not recognize this and continues to pester users. Until Google fix their update system I won't be running any of their software.

If you aren't the administrator of your own computer, you have no business installing any software, period, on a machine that you don't own. So, why are you even bothering to post a comment here? If you do in fact own your computer, and you haven't figured out the whole administrator thing, this software is the least of your problems.Reply to This
