Re tim.lance's "Once DG is invoked moving your mouse down to the bottom will bring up this incredibly small (maybe a quarter inch long and 3/32 inch tall "thing" way to the right of the bottom of your screen. *That's* your Dock. And, it's functinal."
KnockOutDock <http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/23495> does the EXACT same thing, FREE!!!
Note, though, that although the app, itself, is not Leopard compatible, if you run it from the standalone it works in both directions, i.e. install and uninstall. (The length of your new Dock will vary depending on how many apps are in it, but its height will be as described.)
Dock Gone
Keeps the Dock out of your way.

Hi, Joseph,1. I did *not* criticize Dock Gone in the least; I merely pointed out that its basic functionality, minimizing the Dock and moving it to the extreme lower right of a screen, is available free with KnockOutDock.
2. I try apps before posting when there's a need to discover what they *really* do; in the case of DG, however, your "Product Description" and screenshot combined with Tim's description of its basic functionality appeared to leave little to the imagination. (I couldn't imagine what your "bug" was until I saw "When the dock is hidden and the mouse moves to the bottom of the screen where the little leftover tiny dock is, the tiny dock will now be moved to the other side of the screen from the mouse.")
3. I'm not certain what point you're trying to make with the Tiger script/Leopard pref pane thing, but I am certain that KOD (which is Leopard compatible despite its VersionTracker page specs) provides DG's basic functionality for $0.00 and that what it lacks is not (in my estimation, anyhow) $9.95 worth of bells and whistles (unless DG has got some astonishing, so-far undocumented features).

Hi Artie,Of course, what tim was describing is a bug in version beta 1. Beta 2 already fixed it. I'm trying to be very open with my version numbering: this program is not complete yet.
And KnockOutDock is a very nice script for Tiger, not a preference pane for Leopard. It doesn't do most of what Dock Gone does, and I will let you try Dock Gone so you can see for yourself.
I love constructive criticism of my apps, but I prefer that folks try the app first.
