OK, so I really like Toast and think it has a lot to offer... but I do want to warn people about Streamer, an included app which allows you to view videos from "anywhere" even on your iPhone... not sure, but after an initial window of time when the program works as expected, it then experiences serious network issues that makes a connection to your Streamer application impossible. I purchased the new Toast mostly for Streamer (the old Toast worked great), and have been completely disappointed in its performance. It DOES work for a while - an hour or two? - then I am unable to connect back to the streamer server to view my videos. The only work around I have found has been to create a new "screen name" in Streamer, then I get my hour or so grace period before it goes offline again. Roxio's help pages did not provide any answer, and I am awaiting a response.

So take care if Streamer appeals to you in this package... Toast is great, but Streamer needs some serious work.

By the way, I have used other streaming programs (notably a music streaming program from Simplify Media) on the same computer and all has been well consistently... I really don't feel this is something on my side of the network, I believe it's something that is in the Streamer program / architecture / network.
