This developer is incredibly neurotic about his software. Instead of evaluating improvement requests he initiates miniature smear campaigns against those who took the time to fill out a submission. In the vein of "there's no such thing as bad press," neither is there such a thing as bad feedback. Even the most derogatory criticism contains the slightest merit that someone cared enough about your product to invest their time in it.

No, the developer just has a big problem with people not knowing the difference between bashing and a fair review (and if the app sucks, everyone has the right to prove why) - and this is not limited to his own apps! All he wants is to visit VersionTracker, MacUpdate and Co and to know that the reviews and rating have got something to do with the apps itself and are not an indicator for how many trolls bored by life visited this sites! If this attitude makes others think of me as an asshole - ok. If this will decrease the amount of sold apps - ok - but this will not stop me from criticize on people not knowing how to behave…
