Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Over One Year

This claims support for Photoshop plugins, but many of my PS3 plugins cause GC to crash. I would prefer using this to Photoshop.

PS Plug-Ins cause a crash - friedchikkin

There's a note on their site regarding some PSD plugins and the Universal Binary version (specifically they mention scanner plugins I believe), you *might* not have these problems with the PPC version which might inconvenience you if you're using an Intel Mac but should run fine through Rosetta.

Essentially, the PS Plug-in architecture has to match the architecture of the application with which you use it. Use PPC plug-ins with PPC programs. Use Intel Plug-ins with Intel apps. It has always been thus. Mixing does not work.

From GC / lemkesoft web site [http://www.lemkesoft.com/content/202/notes-about-the-universal-binary-version.html] -

Photoshop compatible plug-ins are not supported because they use the classic Carbon CFM calling mechanism. Please try to ask the manufacturer of your scanner for a TWAIN driver if it uses a Photoshop plugin at the moment.
