Have been using ReadingGuide for nearly one month without any problems on a MacBook C2D with 3GB RAM. Not a hint of a problem.

I really like the ability to widen or narrow the "focus line" and the opaqueness. ReadingGuide is just what I needed to focus my mind for speedier reading. Give it a try.

It would be useful to have a Help facility or some instruction to figure out quicker how to use ReadingGuide. But this is a fairly simple app with limited functionality soon mastered intuitively.

I would be delighted if the author would find time to include automatic, variable timed, scrolling.
