I bought VueScan many years ago to work with a flatbed scanner on my old Power Mac G4 MDD. Recently I got a new Mac Pro and a Brother MFC 9840CDW color laser all-in-one and I tried using an earlier version and the program wouldn't recognize the printer because it is wirelessly connected to my home network. At the time, Hamrick's site said that the product did not work with wireless scanners, so I figured that I'd never be able to use his product with my Brother. Lo and behold just a few versions later and my wireless printer/scanner/copier is now supported flawlessly, including the document feeder.

Kudos to Mr. Hamrick, his software is top notch. You'd be silly not to get the Pro version just for the lifetime free updates if for no other reason.
