crashes on every Quit - kent1
I suggest a couple of things,Firstly just delete the Skype preferences in your ~Library.
com.skype.skype.plist
If that doesn't work:
Uninstall Skype by using AppZapper
Remember you will have to re enter your Skype name and password so you must know those!
http://www.appzapper.com/
or AppCleaner,
http://www.freemacsoft.net/AppCleaner/
this will remove all the components and then re Install Skype
If you remove the Skype Folder from ~Library/Application Support you will lose all your contacts and may have to renter all of them again.
I suggest that you drag that to the desktop BEFORE you uninstall and then see how stable Skype is. MAKE A DUPLICATE OF THAT FOLDER to use later if you need to revert to Skype 2.7
Add a couple of contacts and try it out.
If still stable, try replacing the original Folder back into Application Support
and you will have all your contacts back.If it now crashes, you know there is corruption in that Folder and you will have to repeat the above procedure, remove everything and start from scratch building up your contacts again which is not so bad for Skype contacts but would be tedious if you have a lot of land line phone numbers in like I do.
Hope this helps.
If all else fails, just revert to the current stable release!

Good luck.

Yes. Given that you are knowingly using a beta, you should:1. Report the error to the developer.
2. Expect such anomalies with a beta. But, you already knew that. :)
