as it only accesses one file - the Safari plist. That file could be locked, deleted, corrupted etc and the system would work just fine.
But hey, I have my own trolls. I'm fine with it. The two troll “Reviews” that their “systems were hosed” are quite funny in a way. The reason is that I tried to get the lock animation perfect and so had disabled the locking and unlocking code during testing – and forgot to enable it again before I compiled version 0.3. So version 0.3 was functionally identical to version 0.2.4 - which has been downloaded over 20,000 times from my server without a single complaint about "hosed" systems. And now allegedly two within a few hours? I don't buy it.
I just enabled the locking/unlocking code again for version 0.3.1. Sorry for the oversight.

S4M can't hose a system - GGGlen
Tweaks s*cks as an alternative because I DO NOT WANT another menu item and if Apple decides to update Safari, guess what? It's perfectly possible that Tweaks will be broken.
Of course, we all know that Apple *never* updates Safari, right???

I'm sure that you are correct but Tweaks is a much better choice and does not require updating.Reply to This
