Is there any need for this?

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Have Not Tried

This is not an attack on the software or Adobe I just don't see why I would need this when PDF handling is done fine by OS X itself. It kind of reminds me of stuffit expander. Not much need for that nowadays either. Am I missing something that Reader can do and OS X can't?

I need it because Apple's PDFkit can sometimes fail to render complex documents with many, many bookmarks.
