I had to track down the developer. [Why Versiontracker does not have contact on the app's page or why the developer does not have contact information on his home page is a mystery.] The trick to avoiding the crash is to completely delete the previous version of Isolator. Delete the app and its pref file.
Then install the latest version. Unfortunately, you will have to do this every time you update.

Er ... One of is confused and it isn't me.I had to dig around to find your contact information.
When I contacted you, YOU told me that the only way to deal with the bug was to delete the preferences and the app.
I have managed fine without Isolator. I think I'll keep it that way.

A couple of corrections:* There's no need to delete your preferences unless you're unlucky enough encounter this uncommon bug where the application crashes when you use the Preferences window. If you do encounter that bug, send me the old preferences file (~/Library/Preferences/eu.willmore.Isolator.plist) before you delete it. This will help me fix the bug.
* There's never any need to manually delete the application when you upgrade. Simply use the built-in upgrade mechanism, or just quit Isolator and put the new version in place of the old one.
* My email address is on the Isolator web page. Feel free to contact me if you have problems!
