I have been using this software for years and it does the job perfectly every time.
My only wish is that it were included with Mac OS X. Why doesn't Apple have this feature in Disk Copy?

Disk Utility can do dup a HD - mjsickel
Disk Utility can duplicate a bootable hard drive without even making an image: just drag the original disk onto the Source address and the place you want to put it into the Destination location, maybe select "erase destination" first and hit the Restore button. Simple and included in the regular installation of OSX.Friday, October 09 2009 @ 03:40 PM PDT
Love this software - eldiabloconqueso
You can do this with "Disk Utility," included with every installation of Mac OS X.You can create a disk image of your hard drive (while booted from alternate media), then use the "Scan Image for Restore" option in Disk Utility to "clone" it to another drive.
It's an additional step to create the disk image, but it works. You can also create disk images with CCC, then use Disk Utility to clone them to another drive, or vice-versa.
