Used Product For: Less than a month

Recommend Product: NO

Because of the stupid stabbing of Safari 4 Buddy, which is clearly the better product (and came out first) I had to write this review.

First, I will refer to a comment made: one person stated that Safari 4 Buddy didn't follow user interface guidelines because of radio buttons. Radio buttons are not against user interface guidelines while REALBasic is. Next, another person claims that this app looks better (yes, and we all love Windows).

This app is slower, uglier and Safari 4 Buddy now uses checkboxes.

There is no reason for this app to exist. It already has been done better.

Good day.

This is an exceedingly dumb and inaccurate comment - MarkusWinter

Why?

for a comparison see http://www.ahatfullofsky.comuv.com/English/Programs/S4M/Safari4Buddy/Safari4Buddy.html

> (and came out first)

It didn't. It's very first version was written on the 8th of March while Modifier came out on the 5th of March.

Actually radio buttons are not the way to set preferences - Apple's guide lines clearly state checkboxes. And as Buddy has now changed to checkboxes its author obviously agrees.

Ahhh - that is utter nonsense but now we come to the truth. You just have a gripe with REALbasic and don't like any program written with it.

You're a troll.

So Buddy now looks more like Modifier but has unusable menus, does not conform with user interface guidelines (eg the apply button), has less features, is "faster" when settings are applied practically instantaneously in Modifier but you have to press an extra button in Buddy, ... and you are contradicting yourself too?

You are seriously weird.

Only in about in the same way that Windows is "better" than MacOS X.

You pretty much embarrassed yourself here with your prejudice against REALbasic apps.
