Do not buy this software

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

Recommend Product: NO

I did not activate my license, tried many times to contact them for a refund -- which at the time their website said I was entitled to a refund as long as the software wasn't activated. They never contacted me back.

They only want your money, they do not have customer support.

Beware of the fact that they have no contact information on their site.

Do not buy this software - marty_001

I am curious why you bought it if you didn't want to use it? I just read their policy and it says refunds are not available on keys over 20mb but they offer full refund on a 20mb or under key. That seems pretty reasonable. I don't think the other programs have any refund policy at all.

Do not buy this software - Kudrabar

Are you completely ignorant of how corrupt this company is? Just read all the feedback here and on MacUpdate, and then go to the blog that was setup by several customers who were ripped off by this company http://boomerangdatarecoverysucks.blogspot.com

For crap's sake man, do some research before you open your mouth.

Actually Kudrabar, I think it's you who should do your research.

I'm pretty new to "data recovery" and just ruined my first hard drive about a month ago.

I had a personal friend who runs a small data recovery lab recommend Boomerang to me, and it worked WONDERFULLY.

Especially for some as computer illiterate as I am. (why do you think I love macs? :) )

Regardless, I was curious as to why I saw negative reviews here and even took time to read that "Blog"you talked about.

It actually looks more like a plug for Recuva, or a competitor's attempt to undermine this company, than anything else.

do you, or anyone else know a working adult who has enough time to dedicate over 4 months to run a blog dedicated to a single, what you claim to be, "corrupt" company?

I know I don't

and I don't know what you're talking about as far as contact info goes,

i had one problem with my activation key (turns out I was just typing it wrong. -_- like I said. illiterate).

But either way, they're ticket support group was friendly and helpful

and I had all my data back within the week.

Maybe you really did have a bad experience,
It's bound to happen with any company. It's hard to be perfect 100% of the time. (If I had a dollar for every time I've gotten a bad waiter at a restaraunt...)

But regardless, my experience was nothing but pleasant, and if I ever need data recovery again, the crew over at boomerang will definatley be first on my list.
