I have used *censored*tail since it was first introduced, and have been very pleased with its capabiity and performance. However, this is the first version tha I have had any difficulty with. After running 4.3.2 and restarting my PowerBook 17 inch, all I got was a a loud "beep" and a gray screen. I turned off the PowerBook and restarted several times with the same result, but after the third try my Mac rebooted, but it took much longer than usual. I was prepared to use by backup copy of my hard drive to reinstall my drive to the level of my last backup - one week old. I am not sure what happened, but provide this feedback just in case this is a problem that affects others. A word of advice, make sure you have a back-up of your hard drive before installing *censored*tail or similar programs.

Potential Problem with rev. 4.3.2 - TomT--2008

Normally the loud beep on startup is an indication of a firmware update taking place. Is it possible that you have an incomplete firmware install on the machine?

Potential Problem with rev. 4.3.2 - Kugo

Or could *censored*tail have something to do with a firmware update? If it has your password then it's possible?
