Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Have Not Tried

Recommend Product: NO

For ten bucks you get a utility that goes to wunderground.com and snags the iCal feed of the four-day forecast for your area, a feat that anyone can do for FREE. Such a deal!

Rip off? I'll second that! - BBSW3

WeatherCal does not use the Weather Underground iCal feed. It's a first-class (and licensed) client of the direct data feed, and so offers features that aren't available by subscribing to the WU iCal feed (like over-the-air syncing for iPhone/iPod touch), to say nothing of a setup and user experience that you can explain to your mother-in-law. :-) Also, WeatherCal updates the weather events once per hour, rain or shine.

Also… - BBSW3

…WeatherCal's forecast data extends beyond the four days you cite; right now in the US it collects 5-6 days of forecast data (depending on location). As long as you're going to pick nits, you might as well get it right. :-)
