This is a browser that I cannot use with my banking site.

I MUST keep PDF files of my transactions. Safari 3 does not display my icons correctly - it cuts off the left margin. However, FF removes ALL the names of those to whom I pay money and leaves me with only the windows/fields for entering amounts - as if I would since I cannot view to whom those amounts might be sent!!!

How is it that this browser still (after several years) cannot record what is on the page?

Return to Safari! I won't even try FF on other credit sites since Safari works fine.

Maybe the rest of FF functions well enough to use, but this is what I DEPEND on when I bank with my computer, so this is what is important to me. If you do not need to use it for banking, it seems to be fast enough.

Chances are it's your banking site NOT Firefox or any other browser. Does your bank officially support the site on Firefox or just IE? If they don't support Firefox then blame your bank, not the browsers.

If you download their PDF file and it's incorrect, then it's the bank's problem. If the PDF file just shows poorly in FireFox, then it's your PDF plug-in that's to blame. I've found this plug-in to work very well: http://code.google.com/p/firefox-mac-pdf/

It's likely that this is the result of what the Internet Explorer brought us: webpages that are only working on certain browsers.

It's rarely the Firefox' fault when a page is not rendered correctly.
