Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: 6-12 months

Recommend Product: NO

This app and its little brother PDFPen, are wayyyyyy overpriced. Considering that so much of PDFPen's and PDFPenPro's functionality are available for FREE in Leopard's Preview and a freeware app called Skim, this should really cost only $20, and PDFPen should be $10. At $100 and $50 this developer should be ASHAMED.

Wayyyyy overpriced, greedy, greedy, greedy! - Fred_4

There are a lot of noobs leaving false feedback for a product that they do not understand at all.
I would like to see Preview be able to edit PDF files and forms, but it cannot. It is simply a viewer.
This is a good product and users need to see it, but do not be fooled by irrelevant feedback from people that have no clue what it does.
Perhaps Apple will include this type of functionality in the future, but it is doubtful.
I like PDF Pen Pro more than the Adobe products for my needs.
This product makes it very simple to download a PDF from the internet that has not been setup as an editable form (read only and no fields) and you can edit it, type on it, fill it in, anything you need just as if it had been a properly setup form.
It is frustrating downloading PDF files form companies that do not know how to set them up to allow user input, but this product eliminates that frustration and does it well.
Trying to do the same thing with Adobe Acrobat Pro is a nightmare. It is very frustrating.
PDF Pen Pro is simple and just works.
If you need a viewer only, then then Preview is just fine, but if you need an editor or want to fill in the blanks on forms that are read only, then this is a great tool.
Yes, it is too expensive but the company is very good about working out bundle pricing.
