The language and description here is awfully reminiscent of Aimersoft/iSkysoft. I'd advise caution until there's some confirmation on where this came from.

Why be careful of Aimersoft?1. It's part of a "company" that sells nearly identical software under numerous brand names, while denying any connection between them.
2. Representatives of these companies write reviews of their own software and make promotional comments on sites like VT and MacUpdate without ever acknowledging that they're associated with the developer.
3. The quality of the software is dubious at best. Comments by people who have been brave (or uninformed) enough to try it generally report sketchy operation.
What it comes down to is that they use dishonest sales tactics to push a product of very questionable value. The description of this product (and the broken English it's written in) is eerily similar to those of the various Aimersoft/iSkysoft products, which leads me to suspect that uSeesoft is part of the same group.

But, does it work? Does it do half of what MacTheRipper or similar, proven sw can?Monday, March 02 2009 @ 04:06 PM PST

Does it work? User comments suggest that Aimersoft/iSkysoft products don't work particularly well (I admit to not being brave enough to experiment with them--I don't trust software from a group of liars and spammers on my computer). For me, the dishonesty and overall sketchiness of the "company" makes the functionality of its products a secondary concern. Besides, they offer basically the same functionality as HandBrake (DVD ripping to MPEG-4 formats, conversion of numerous formats), which is free of charge and free of dishonest sales tactics. If you really want to know how well these products work, install them yourself, at your own risk... or just forget it and go download HandBrake or some other reputable ripping/conversion application.Tuesday, March 03 2009 @ 10:42 AM PST

I totally agree. Also the same asmp4converter.com
It's a Chinese company. It's very annoying that they try to flood the market with the same software repackaged 20 times over. What's also annoying is the fact that they want to sell you 10 different apps which each only do one thing rather than one app that does them all. Not that I expect everything for nothing, but I don't care to be bled dry either.
