This is really misleading and they should update their description. There are about 10 games that are guaranteed to work, the rest of the list, about 150 games, are primarily Honorable Mention, meaning that it has been reported to work but not supported. There are a handful of silver and no Gold that I could see. I think I will stick to VMWare fusion or Boot Camp, which runs games at full speed. I mean really you can get a copy of XP OEM for under $99, and that will enable you to play games at full speed with full capabilities. Just my opinion, but this app is pointless...

"Since VMWare and Crossover are using the same WINE elements then how would it perform any better?"sure, but depends on which planet you are living on. on planet earth, vmware fusion is a virtualization solution. it does not use WINE elements.

You need to look at the tools that get installed in your PC environment through VMWare. They're not using normal graphic drivers from ATI or nVidia. ;)Wednesday, May 20 2009 @ 10:33 AM PDT

Nope, and they ain't in any way related to WINE either. You really have no clue what you're talking about....Wednesday, September 02 2009 @ 12:00 PM PDT

Since VMWare and Crossover are using the same WINE elements then how would it perform any better?Of the two options mentioned. I would opt for BootCamp for 100% (or near so) compatibility and performance.. I agree though, it should be pointed out that even the GOLD marked items have some issues.. In many cases its minor but that would still be considered more than exist under BC. Its really meant for people who have NO WINDOWS INSTALLATIONS TO USE AT ALL.
