The much applauded simple process for updating your Saft installation (i.e., choose "Saft Update. . ." from the Saft application menu when Saft has been launched) didn't work for me this time. (It had with prior upgrade.) When I did that this time, I was told that my installed v10.5.7 was the current version.
I went to the developer's site <http://haoli.dnsalias.com/Saft/Download/index.html> and then clicked on the "here" in the "Download the latest Saft for Leopard and Safari 4 from here.". That downloaded the .dmg file with v11.0--with which I then routinely installed it, replacing the v10.5.7 application. When I then launched Saft, it still recognized my prior licensing and I was set to use Saft with Safari's v4 Public Beta.
