Safari 4 is nice. Quick and some nice interface improvement. However, I don't think having the tabs replace the Title Bar was a good idea. I tried it for about 6 hours yesterday, and found it to be rather annoying. If you want to move the Tab bar back BELOW the address bar, quit Safari, open a Terminal window and paste this:
defaults write com.apple.Safari DebugSafari4TabBarIsOnTop -bool NO
Hit return and quit Terminal.
Done.
Otherwise, very nice for a Beta. Keep up the good work. Hopefully this Tab preference won't be a hidden preference in the final version.

I like the new tab location better. It makes better use of screen space since with the old way top title bar serves no use at all. We don't need to have the title of the web site in two locations.Wednesday, February 25 2009 @ 02:24 PM PST
