Thanks to earlier reviewers who directed me to Sidenote. SlidePad was on special on MacZOT; I was thinking of buying it, but checked Versiontracker. Glad I did. After trialling SlidePad, I have to agree with the reviewers who say use Sidenote instead... save yourself $20.
