Installing this beta sucked for me. It caused Mail to crash. Uninstall 4B and Mail works. Reinstall 4B and mail crashes.
I would like the option of turning off cover flow. I have access to websites not available (in theory) to the general public and I am not impressed how a pict of it shows up.
While it maybe a cool geeky feature, and fine for surfing alone at home, this feature is a privacy nightmare.
Apple has some work to do on this before they can release it. IMHO, they should yank the public beta right now.

I somehow doubt that enough people are so concerned with the CoverFlow pictures that it warrants pulling the beta. If you're in a public area, can't you simply avoid pulling up the bookmark manager window? Anyway, as far as causing Mail to crash, did you make sure that any old InputManager add-ons were uninstalled? I've heard that some of these can cause havoc with Safari 4, though Glims and 1Password work fine.Tuesday, February 24 2009 @ 09:48 PM PST

Looks cool but I'm having the same problem with Mail crashing... Guess I'll wait until it is out of beta...Reply to This
