I just ran Safari 4.0b for maybe 5 minutes before reverting back to Safari 3x. The new beta seemed to run smoothly, but I loathe the tabs being displayed in the title bar. This is an abomination. It does not fit with Apple UI guidelines and it should be removed immediately. The savings of a few pixels are not worth such poor UI design. This is NOT a case of something new to get used to. It looks like something Microsoft would do--not Apple; and it should be corrected immediately. Please rally behind this, fellow long-time Mac users. This might be the worst idea I've seen come out of Apple since introducing Panther, and it's got to go.

I totally agree with the tabs. It is more user friendly on version 3.

Tab on the top make switching and reading the tabs to see where you are less optimal. Please switch back. This is a bit disappointing since everything Apple puts out, it works.

Let's just hope since this is a beta, they are testing all possibilities.
