So if I install this, I can't use the older version of Safari?

Just clarifying - ATM Man

Safari 3 gets written over. But safari 4 comes with an uninstaller (good idea) and if you have an external drive and use Time Machine, you can go back a day or so and download the older version. Uninstall the new, replace with the old.

better yet, save your cookies and bookmark in user/prefs/cookies/Safari/bookmarks.txt
save them, then wipe out all traces of SAFARI-or at least pull the app from your apps folder.
In fact- I would do that anyway-ive had new version installs replace my bookmarks & prefs with new empty ones much to my disgust-which is why I keep a backup of my prefs & cookies once a week
